AT THE FOREFRONT OF THE INDUSTRY
In 1996, Forest River founder Peter Liegl had a vision. He foresaw an RV company dedicated to helping people experience the joy of the outdoors by building better recreational vehicles. Today, we have grown to become one of the largest RV manufacturers in North America, producing class A and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, camping trailers and destination trailers. From the new family just starting out in the world of RVing to the experienced full-timer, we offer something for everyone.
Forest River RV is a division of Forest River, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, which produces recreational vehicles, pontoons, park models, buses, cargo trailers and commercial trucks. The diversity of Forest River, Inc., enables us to approach the RV industry with a unique perspective, incorporating lessons learned at each one of our divisions. Operating with openness across a wide range of products is what makes us stand apart from the competition. At Forest River, Inc., quality and dependability are a necessity in everything we make. OUR MISSION IS TO HELP ALL OF OUR OWNERS ENJOY THEIR RV EXPERIENCE TO THE FULLEST!
At Forest River, we have a passion for the great outdoors and want to enable our owners to experience all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer. That is why we build quality, dependable recreational vehicles. Plus, with manufacturing facilities throughout the Midwest and west coast, we are able to fill your orders promptly without cutting corners or rushing through the production procedures. This ensures that each Forest River product is conscientiously built and undergoes thorough, detailed inspection before being shipped.
A HIGHER STANDARD OF MANUFACTURING
At Forest River we understand that the quality and dependability of our products is of the utmost importance. That is why random units from each of our brands are subjected to rigorous testing at our 20,000 square foot pre-delivery inspection (PDI) building on top of the inspections that all units undergo as they are being built. Units selected to go through PDI are checked for issues in electrical, plumbing, LP system, function, cosmetic, codes and standards, rain bay, and other miscellaneous tests. This process provides our plants daily feedback to ensure every unit being built meets the high quality standards.
A STRONG OWNER’S GROUP TO ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE
Part of the RV experience is being among other RVers who hold the same passions that you do. In 2011 the Forest River Owners’ Group (FROG) was formed, and it quickly has grown to over 95,000 members. These members attend rallies and tours throughout North America sharing memories and stories that will last a lifetime. Membership is FREE, and all it takes to become a member is to become a Forest River RV owner and submit a form on the FROG website.

Warranty / Roadside Assistance
Forest River RV brands provide a One-Year Limited Warranty. We do not offer any other type of warranty on our products. Many of the suppliers utilized by Forest River RV warranty their own products, and some components may have a longer warranty through the actual component manufacturer.
Note: Most RV dealerships sell after-market “Extended Warranty Contracts” that have a variety of terms, conditions and time periods. These may be a viable option depending on your needs. We encourage you to be sure to thoroughly read and understand the contract before purchasing.
Forest River RV brands come with one year of Roadside Assistance included for the first year on most new motorized and towable Forest River RVs*. This service provides you with 24/7 coverage for the following services:
- Jump Starts
- Tire Assistance
- Delivery of Fuel and Emergency Fluids
- Locksmith/Lockout Service
- Winch Out
- Technical Support
- RV Mobile Mechanic
If you purchased your vehicle prior to 1/1/2019, please call the following number for emergency roadside assistance: 877-801-0333
GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) – is the maximum permissible weight of the unit when fully loaded. It includes all weights, inclusive of all fluids, cargo, optional equipment and accessories. For safety and product performance do NOT exceed the GVWR.
GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) – is the maximum permissible weight, including cargo, fluids, optional equipment and accessories that can be safely supported by a combination of all axles.
UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight)* – is the typical weight of the unit as manufactured at the factory. It includes all weight at the unit’s axle(s) and tongue or pin and LP Gas. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh potable water, additional optional equipment or dealer installed accessories.
*Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.
CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity) ** – is the amount of weight available for fresh potable water, cargo, additional optional equipment and accessories. CCC is equal to GVWR minus UVW. Available CCC should accommodate fresh potable water (8.3 lbs per gallon). Before filling the fresh water tank, empty the black and gray tanks to provide for more cargo capacity.
**Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.
Each Forest River RV is weighed at the manufacturing facility prior to shipping. A label identifying the unloaded vehicle weight of the actual unit and the cargo carrying capacity is applied to every Forest River RV prior to leaving our facilities.
The load capacity of your unit is designated by weight, not by volume, so you cannot necessarily use all available space when loading your unit.
Actual towing capacity is dependent upon your particular loading and towing circumstances, which includes the GVWR, GAWR and GCWR as well as adequate trailer brakes. Please refer to the Operator's Manual of your vehicle for further towing information.
