I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with the AYA this year. As every other year it was a great success and we are hearing from many people the compliments. These compliments are due to everyone involved.

  • The CACHE CAMPGROUND (Michelle, Denis and their Staff) as always a job well done with everything you help us with.
  • To our Guiho Saw Sales & Marine Staff on their own time for supporting this event as always – Caroline and Catherine for being there by my side for all the important facts and for getting everything ready up to the AYA and then taking care of the stats and photos etc, awesome job.
  • To Crystel Vallee and Domnique Morin for your weigh-in help along with the NOWT support.
  • Henri Roberge for hauling and getting us the scales and weigh in sign, thank you!
  • To Dave Reid, Sebastien, Cassandra, Nancy and Mr. Turgeon for your help with the dock weigh-in and fish release, job well done with only a few fish lost.
  • Dakota, Jack, and Gilles Rondeau, once again we need to notice and appreciate your time with this event in all the ways you boys helped out.
  • To Keith and Louise Hopcraft for taking care of the food, went as smooth as ever.
  • To Lisa Chartrand my girl in my life, thanks for putting up with all of us and ALWAYS running everywhere for us and helping with set up, you really do make these events run smoother.
  • To our friend and supporter Steve Vachon for being our right-hand man, thanks for everything you do for the AYA and Guiho Saw Sales & Marine.

I must acknowledge Jason Curley for his honesty and gratitude, we need more anglers like you. You actually caught the biggest fish just over 8lbs and you gave this up to pass it onto a YOUNG Angler so they would receive the reproduction. That is what this event is about, and everyone appreciates gestures like this.

We are planning this event Next year with a date of July 15th 2017 so mark it on your calendar now!

Again thank you to everyone and ALL the sponsors who support this great Youth Angler event, without all of you and people like Denis and Michelle Perrier events like this would not be there and be as successful as they are.

Attached  is a list of organizations that sponsor and support this event. If you have a chance please try to visit these organizations and support them, they support us year after year and we have to say THANK YOU.
